A rate made ye 16th day of June 83 by Andrew Wright and    
Richard Stranger churchwardens and Mr. John Worth and William    
Hewett overseers of the poor by and with the assent of two of His    
Majestys Justices of the peace of the County of Devon both of the    
Quorom for the relief of the poor of the parish of Holne according    
to the statudes in that care made and provided and we humbly    
desire to be allowed to collect. £sd
