A rate made the 27th day of June 1786 by James Tolchard and    
Elias Stranger churchwardens and Jeffery Pearse and Richard    
Stranger overseers of the poor by and with the assent of two of    
His Majestys Justices of the Peace of the County of Devon both    
of the Quorom for the relief of the poor of the parish of Holne    
according to the statudes in that care made and provided for    
relief of the poor within the said Parish. £sd
