A rate made the 21st day of April 1797 By James Tolchard and    
Richard Beard churchwardens and Richard Beard and Thomas May    
overseers of the poor by and with the assent of two of His Majestys    
Justices of the Peace of the County of Devon both of the Quorom    
for the relief of the poor of the parish of Holne according to the    
statudes in that care made and provided. £sd
