"OAKLEY (LITTLE), a parish in the hundred of TENDRING, county of ESSEX, 4½ miles (S. W. by W.) from Harwich, containing 262 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Colchester, and diocese of London, rated in the king's books at £13. 11. 0. Thomas Scott, Esq; was patron in 1800.
