Burton Agnes: Burton Agnes Cemetery gravestones etc..
PHOTOGRAPHS OF GRAVES IN BURTON AGNES CEMETERY GRAVESTONES ETC..
These photographs were taken by Lisa Blosfelds and Doreen Laycock in June 2016. We may be glimpsed in some of them. Burton Agnes cemetery stands on the outskirts of the village on the road which leads from it towards Rudston. It is practically opposite the entrance to Burton Agnes Hall car park and faces roughly east north east. From the cemetery there are views over fields to the north and west, and towards the village and hall to the south and east. It is rectangular with a central path and is surrounded by fences and hedges. There are several trees bordering the path and a very fine old one in the northern boundary (picture 27). The first three photographs are taken of the cemetery from the road travelling north while the rest take a route up and down the central path and then anticlockwise around the edges. We hope that they will enable anyone to locate the place of a particular grave in the cemetery.
These photos of the Burton Agnes cemetery were taken in 2014 and consequently no graves after this date appear here.
The links given below take you to the first photo of the grave of the relevant name.
The number for the photograph is given in the caption below the photograph.
There are three sizes of photos: the thumbnail images which link to a page containing a larger image (640 by 480 pixels), and then a full size image which is linked from the previously mentioned larger image. The full size image can of course be saved for your own personal use.
The list of photographs gives the Forenames and some other details where relevant.
