69. CARLTON STREET. Wesleyan mission room built 1865 at cost of £500. Designed by William Botterill in simple Gothic style. Seating for 300. Replaced by larger chapel in 1886. Closed 1962 and demolished 1968/9. Site now warehouses. (Green's Components). [The Lost Churches and Chapels of Hull]
