The original St Columba church in Fareham was a "tin tabernacle" that was situated in Catisfield Lane and constructed in 1891. It was used until 1963, when it then became redundant to the church that is now situated in Hillson Drive. The original church was then demolished. The current St Columba church was built in 1962 and was dedicated in February 1963.
