Population: 1801 & 1811

This 1801 Norfolk Record Office document [with the reference PD 597/2 and MF 592/13] is on 1 sheet of paper as are the figures for 1811. They both contain only statistics ie. no names.

  • 1801 - This document. These occur in the Burial Section on MF 592.
  • 1811 - Statistics only. These occur in MF 592 after the 1752 Marriages and the 1801-10 Clergymans returns.

The Microfilm (MF) contains the following information for the 1801 Population returns after a page of statistics for the whole county:-

  • In the 1801 the enumerator has actually given the number of people (and not families) employed in Agriculture.
