for HARROGATE in White's Directory of 1837.

Post:
  • The Post Office is at Mr John Stead Dearlove's in High Harrogate whence letters are despatched to London &c at ½ past 9 evening to York and the North at ½ past 1 afternoon, to Leeds &c at 4 morning, and to Knaresbrough twice a day. There is also a receiving box, at Mrs Blackburn's, in Low Harrogate.
In the following Directory, those marked:
  • 1, are in Low, 2 in Central and the others in High Harrogate.
